Pelican names Jon Prior as Regional Sales Manager

To ensure its continued growth and success, Pelican™ Products, a leading manufacturer of high-impact, watertight cases and safety approved, technically advanced flashlights, has named Jon Prior as Regional Sales Manager in the Commercial Sales Division.  He will be responsible for the management and oversight of Pelican’s business development and sales activities in Alaska, Northern California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

“Jon has a unique understanding of Pelican’s customers as a result of his extensive contacts and experience in the commercial and industrial safety markets,” said Mark Rolfes, Pelican’s Director of Sales. “We are confident that he will continue to grow Pelican’s business exponentially in that territory.”

Prior brings more than 10 years of sales and management experience in the industrial safety markets. Before joining Pelican, Prior worked for United American Sales, a leading wholesale distributor of personal protection equipment and industrial supplies, where, as Western Regional Sales Manager, he grew their business by 18% in less than a year. He was also Territory Sales Manager for Moldex-Metric©, a leading manufacturer of respiratory and hearing protection products, where he grew sales by 15% by securing major end-user accounts.  Prior also served as National Sales Manager at Paulson Manufacturing, where he was responsible for $14 million in sales volume and increased distribution sales by $1.3 million in his first year.
