Pelican Sponsors Land Rover's Defender Service Awards

Pelican Products, Inc., the global leader in rugged, mission-critical protective cases and coolers, has partnered with Land Rover to present the Land Rover Defender Service Award for Search and Rescue to Sauvetage Bénévole Outaouais - Ottawa Volunteer Search and Rescue (SBO-OVSAR) this past weekend.

Held at the Biltmore Hotel in North Carolina, the awards ceremony celebrated the five winning charitable organizations. The Land Rover Defender Service Awards recognize charitable organizations making an impact within their respective local communities. The five categories are Search and Rescue, Environmental & Conservation, Veterans Outreach, Community Service, and Animal Welfare.

Pelican sponsored the Search and Rescue Award by providing a charitable donation and products to aid the winner in executing their work. Land Rover awarded the winner with a custom Land Rover Defender 130 SUV.

The winner of the Defender Service Award for Search and Rescue, SBO-OVSAR, is a volunteer-based search and rescue organization serving Western Quebec and Eastern Ontario. Their mission is to provide search and rescue services, assist communities during emergency situations, and deliver outdoor safety education programs to the public.
