Pelican™ Unveils The First 17-Hour Off-Road LED Work Light
Published May 10, 2007
Emergency lighting in critical situations isn’t a concern now with the introduction of Pelican™ Products 9450 Remote Area Lighting System (RALS).
Built for mobility, the 9450 RALS is a rapid-deploying emergency area light, self-contained inside a tough-as-nails Pelican 1510 Protector™ Case.
Assembling in minutes, the 9450 RALS features a multi-angle telescoping light tower that can reach up to eight feet in the air. Its detachable bank of 16 1-watt LEDs can generate up to 1280 lumens of clean, brilliant light. Featuring a removable diffuser filter, the 9450 RALS gives off enough light to cover an entire backyard work site, deck or patio. By removing the diffuser, it becomes a high-powered spot beam, perfect for piercing darkness hundreds of yards away.
The 9450 RALS is powered by a 17-hour rechargeable battery that offers up to 9 hours of peak light and takes a mere 6 hours for a full charge. Additionally, the system sports an auxiliary socket that can deliver an emergency charge to any 12 volt device such as a cell phone or laptop.
Available in black and orange, the 9450 Remote Area Lighting System has an MSRP of $799.95, and comes standard with the Pelican Products Legendary Lifetime Guarantee of Excellence: “You break it we replace it…. forever.”™
