Pelican and Land Rover Partner to Recognize Search, Rescue, and Emergency Support Professionals

For the third consecutive year, Pelican has sponsored the prestigious Land Rover Defender Service Award

Pelican Products, Inc., the global leader in rugged, mission-critical protective cases and coolers, is excited to announce sponsorship of Land Rover’s Defender Service Awards category for Search, Rescue & Emergency Support Services. Nominees for this award include teams involved in remote area search and rescue, natural disaster support, fire and wildfire support, and EMS teams.

The Defender Service Awards recognize non-profit organizations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. These charitable organizations must fall within six categories and embody the unstoppable spirit of Land Rover’s Defender. Organizations are encouraged to submit videos addressing how a new Defender 130 would support their mission. The six categories are:

• Search and Rescue
• Environnmental & Conservation
• Outdoor Accessibility and Education
• Veterans Outreach
• Community Service
• Animal Welfare

Pelican is honored to return as the sponsor for the Search and Rescue Award, offering a charitable donation and products to enhance the winner's operational capabilities to execute their missions. In addition, Land Rover will reward the winner with a custom Land Rover Defender 130 SUV, a vehicle that will significantly aid in their search and rescue efforts.

Submissions are open from June 17, 2024, through July 29, 2024, followed by a judging period by a panel of qualified judges. The finalists' videos will be posted on Landroverusa.com and www.landrover.ca for public voting beginning in October, and winners will be announced in the fall 2024.
