Pelican Launches New Air Case

The Pelican™ 1595 Air Case provides a new size- not too small and not too large, but just right.

Pelican Products, Inc., the global leader in rugged, mission-critical protective cases, coolers, and lights, announced the 1595 Air case. This new case offers a new size that is larger than the 1535 Air carry-on case, yet smaller than the 1615 Air check-in case- making it the ideal option when you need a case larger than a carry-on without unnecessary weight.

The 1595 Air case has external measurements of 28"L x 18"W x 9.5"D and internal measurements of 25.6"L x 15"W x 9"D. Like other cases in the Air series, the 1595 is waterproof, crushproof, and dustproof. It is IP67 and MIL-SPEC certified.

The 1595 Air case features an automatic pressure equalization valve, Press & Pull™ latches, a retractable extension trolley handle, fold-down over-molded handle, quiet stainless-steel ball bearing wheels, and business card holder. It will be available with and without foam and with Pelican’s exclusive TrekPak™ divider system.

The 1595 Air case joins the extensive Air case series. Air cases are made of a super-light proprietary HPX²™ Polymer for up to 40% less weight than regular polymer cases. These cases keep valued possessions safe, while remaining portable and easier to transport. Air cases provide protection for a wide range of gear, including cameras, sensitive equipment, camping, and travel gear. Available in long, deep, and long/deep sizes, Pelican Air cases are the toughest and lightest cases Pelican has to offer.

A 1595TRVL Air travel case will be available later this year. The travel version includes travel-inspired internal organization.
